We are working in partnership with Neath Port Talbot and Powys Councils to develop proposals for the Global Centre of Rail Excellence.  

The Global Centre of Rail Excellence would be located on the site of Nant Helen Open Cast Mine in Onllwyn, which is currently operated by Celtic Energy. 

We will be holding drop in sessions where you can find out more:

  • 13:00-19:00 on Wednesday 17 July at Onllwyn Welfare Hall, Wembley Avenue, Onllwyn, Neath SA10 9HL
  • 13:00-19:00 on Thursday 18 July at Abercrave Miners Welfare Hall and Institute, Tanyrallt, Abercraf SA9 1AX
  • 15:00-19:00 on Tuesday 3 September at Coelbren Welfare Hall, Station Rd, Coelbren, Powys SA10 9PL
