Original consultation
We want your views on further revisions to planning guidance for development in areas at risk of flooding and coastal erosion.
Consultation description
We are not re-consulting on the fundamental principles of the TAN consulted on in 2021.
We propose to:
- Increase flexibility in the TAN to allow for appropriate regeneration and redevelopment in flood risk areas
- Provide more detail on the issues for the plan-led system and the justification for development.
