These figures represent the results of the Wales Farm Business Survey for 2018-19.
The report also includes:

Average farm business income in Wales in 2018-19, and change since 2017-18 (at current prices)
Dairy farms
Average income varied greatly in the past five years. After the high of 2017-18, income returned to a moderate level but still significantly higher than the low period of 2015-17.
Cattle and sheep (Less Favoured Area) farms
Average income has reduced to a level last seen in 2013-14.
Cattle and sheep (lowland) farms
Following the increase in 2017-18, average income reduced to slightly above the level in 2015-16.
Updates during 2020
Forecasts of farm incomes for 2019-20 are due to be published in April 2020. Final results for 2019-20 are expected to be published at end 2020.
