The purpose of this report is to pull together the key guiding principles and activities of the Act, and understand and demonstrate the complex context in which it sits.

Series information:
This short report based on a sample of ten people contains a number of very powerful and challenging reflections on people’s experiences within the social care system. It is not possible to draw general conclusions based on these experiences, but it is important to recognise the heartfelt messages contained within the perspectives.
