The focus of this process evaluation was assessing the design and delivery of the Fund and identifying lessons for how it could be improved.
In particular, the report discusses how the Fund’s design enabled it to identify, and shape, suitable projects. It considers the Fund’s marketing and communications, the application process, and the guidance and support provided to applicants.
The report also explores the collaborative approach to the design and delivery of the Fund by Welsh Government, Sport Wales and Public Health Wales.
