The evaluation reports on how well the Pilot was implemented, what worked well and how it fitted with other initiatives.
This is the latest release in the series: Evaluation of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) In-Reach Pilot Programme
The programme aimed to build the capacity (including skills, knowledge and confidence) in primary and secondary schools to support mental health and wellbeing of pupils and staff. It also aimed to improve the access of schools to specialist liaison, consultancy, advice and training when needed.
The evaluation report summarises how well the Pilot was implemented, what worked well and how it fitted with other initiatives. It sets out recommendations for how the programme could be rolled out across Wales as part of regional whole-system approaches to promoting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
This was funded by the Welsh Government to run from September 2018 until July 2021.
