Guidance for projects now that the UK has left the EU.

Summary
There is no change in the existing arrangements for current EU funded projects.
The way that projects are managed has not changed. This includes:
- submitting and payment of claims
- management verifications
- retention of records
Projects should continue to use WEFO Online to submit and update information.
Projects will continue to receive EU funding until the programmes are closed in 2023.
This includes:
- European Structural Funds programmes (the European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund)
- European Territorial Co-operation programmes
- Ireland Wales programme
The current deadline of 31 December 2023 for programme delivery remains unchanged.
Projects currently being delivered
Projects will continue to be delivered in line with their approved business plans, delivery profiles and as outlined within individual funding agreements.
Projects approved and receiving funding
All existing EU rules and regulations will continue to apply.

European Territorial Co-operation and the Ireland Wales Co-operation Programme
EU funding for UK organisations involved with these programmes will continue until the end of the programme.
Rules about sharing personal data between the EU and the UK
The EU has approved adequacy decisions for the EU GDPR and the Law Enforcement Directive (LED). This means that data can continue to flow as it did before, in the majority of circumstances. Read the guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office.
