This paper sets out the Panel’s views on the broad trends likely to face economic policy makers in Wales over the medium to longer term.

It also reflects the Panel’s assessment of the degree of confidence that can be had in the trends in each area, of the limitations of prediction, and on what these limitations themselves imply for the policy making process. (The “medium to longer term” means more than about five years in the future.)
