Framework updates.
IT Products and Services (ITPS) 2 framework agreement
We are reviewing ITPS2 which expires in July 2024 to determine if there is an appetite for a 3rd iteration of the agreement.
We are currently creating a short survey to help us identify your needs and priorities, which will be circulated shortly.
Multi-Functional Devices (MFD) and document solutions framework
Our MFD and document solutions framework (Ref: NPS-ICT-0104-20) has been extended until 22 July 2025.
Supplier credit check service
We contacted the user community early in 2023 to advise that we are going out to tender for this service (currently provided by D&B). We asked what you use the tool for; how often you use it; and what the most important information is that you get from the tool. In readiness for the tender exercise, if you haven’t already done so, please let us know your requirements by emailing ICTProcurement@gov.wales by the end of June.
New Pipeline planning functionality on Sell2wales
Testing of the new functions of Sell2Wales by the end of July 2023 is continuing. Thank you to all of the volunteers who have been testing the tool. As July approaches, we will give demos of the new functions at the eProcurement user group meeting. A recording of the demo will be available to registered attendees.
Procurement journey
We have built skeletons of the procurement journey (formerly known as the Procurement Route Planner) which will form part of the next version of the Cyd website. Thanks to everyone via the Cyd community and the Welsh Government staff who have prepared the content for the first 2 procurement routes. The content will now be used to populate the procurement journeys and will feed into Phase 2 of the Cyd website.
Policy mapping tool
We will start usability testing in the next few weeks to help refine the content that will go into the tool soon. We hope to have a final tool by the end of September. If you want to get involved, please join the Cyd User Testing group. You can sign up at the Cyd contact us page.
ePayments
We have extended the ePayments concession and associated services master agreement between Welsh Government and Barclaycard to 31 March 2026.
