Multi-functional devices (MFD) and document solutions (ICT – 0104-20)
The current MFD framework expires on 22 July 2021. The second generation of the all-Wales MFD framework has been evaluated and is scheduled to go live by 23 July.
Our multi-functional devices and document solutions framework will enable customers to direct award or undertake a further competition under the following lots:
- Lot 1: MFDs and document solutions
- Lot 2: Print consumables

Dynamic purchasing system (NPS-ICT-0054-16) for digitisation, storage & disposal of documents and ICT assets
This arrangement is reserved under Article 20 of the Public Contracts Regulations Act 2015. It supports the delivery of the Welsh Procurement Policy Statement, the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act, and key Welsh Government policies around social value and development of the foundational and circular economy.
We have refreshed the list of suppliers following an exercise to reconfirm eligibility for this arrangement. The latest supplier lists and documents will be available on Sell2Wales shortly.
Welsh language - are you developing or buying new technology, websites or software?
We have developed a toolkit to help organisations, project managers and contractors design and develop bilingual technology, websites and software products to help create a good user experience in Welsh, English and any other languages.
Our free ‘Toolkit’ is now live and available on the Welsh Government website. If you are in discussions with a contractor to develop bilingual technology, websites and software products, please share this toolkit with them.
We are creating a case study focused on using the toolkit within procurement processes and tenders which will be available shortly.
