DNS replaced by SIP from 15 December 2025
From the 15 December 2025 the Developments of National Significance (DNS) system has been replaced with the Significant Infrastructure Projects (SIP) system.
This guidance remains relevant for existing DNS applications during the transitional period whilst some DNS applications remain in the system.
