Original consultation
The Wales Act 2014 sets out new fiscal powers for Wales and devolves a range of tax powers.
Consultation description
The devolution of these powers will allow us to develop an approach which is better suited to Welsh circumstances and priorities.
This consultation covers:
- tax rates and taxable disposals
- proposals for improving tax compliance and enforcement
- options to simplify and modernise tax administration
- whether and how a proportion of Landfill Disposals Tax receipts could be used to enhance community wellbeing.
