HM Revenue and Customs have published the number of claims made to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) and the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) up to 31 May 2020.
Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme
- 316,500 employments in Wales have been supported through the CJRS scheme.
Self-Employment Income Support Scheme
- Just over 100,000 people in Wales have claimed a SEISS grant, which is 73% of the eligible population.
- The total value of all claims made in Wales up to 31 May is £273 million.
