This statement sets out the approach the UK will take to transpose the 2020 CEP measures and the key changes stakeholders should be aware of. The CEP introduces further steps for the reduction of waste. This is in line with the Welsh Government’s strategy, Beyond Recycling, which aims to make a circular, low carbon economy in Wales a reality.
