The guidance is based on the rules and regulations that apply when a child employment permit is required:
- Child Employment in Wales is covered by Part II of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (CYPA 1933)
- Child Employment in Wales is covered by Part II of the Children and Young Persons Act 1963 (CYPA 1963)
- the law in Wales regarding the Employment of Children
- child work permit information for Wales and England
If a work permit is required, you will need to complete an application form from your local authority.
