We want your views on proposed changes to the National Minimum Standards for Regulated Childcare for children up to the age of 12 years.
Consultation description
We are consulting on changes to:
- first aid requirements (Standard 10)
- child minders working with assistants (Standard 13) (childminders)
- childcare qualifications for day care providers (Standard 13) (daycare)
- supernumerary member of staff (Standard 15)
- quality (Standard 18)
- safeguarding (Standard 20)
The closing date for this consultation has been extended from 20 September to 7 October 2022 to allow additional time for responses.
