The Carwyn Connect events give people the opportunity to ask the First Minister questions, face to face, on any issues which affect them or their local community.

The hour-long session will be at the Welsh Government’s stand on the Maes at 2pm on Monday, 7 August.  Those interested in attending are encouraged to register on the Eventbrite website.  Questions can be submitted in advance via email to cabinetcommunications@gov.wales or at the event itself.

The First Minister said:

“I’ve held a number of Carwyn Connects across Wales over the past two years and there has been a lot of positive discussion and debate at each one. I’m pleased to be able to hold an event at the National Eisteddfod for the first time.  I know that there is always interesting debate at the Eisteddfod and I’m looking forward to hearing what issues will come up. I hope that as many of you attending the Eisteddfod are able to come along to the question and answer session and I look forward to meeting you all.”
