The Carwyn Connect event gives local people an opportunity to meet the First Minister face to face and ask him questions on any burning issues which affect them or their local community.

The session is taking place at Coleg Cambria’s new Deeside Sixth Centre between 6pm and 7.30pm. It is free to attend but people are encouraged to register online via www.eventbrite.co.uk and putting “Carwyn Connect Connah’s Quay” in the events search bar.

There are a number of ways you can ask a question. You can submit your question when you arrive at the venue, doors open at 5.30pm; in advance via email on cabinetcommunications@wales.gsi.gov.uk or via Twitter using @fmwales with the hashtag #carwynconnect.

First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones said:

“I’m pleased to announce I will be holding a Carwyn Connect event in Connah’s Quay.

“I have travelled all over Wales meeting people and answering questions on issues which matter to them. It’s been great to see how popular these events have been and I’m sure Connah’s Quay will be no different.

“So if you want to ask me a question, would like to raise an issue or have a great idea which will make a difference to your community, come along to Coleg Cambria’s Deeside Sixth on 30th March. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all.”
