Item 1: Minutes of the previous meeting

Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas

1.1 The First Minister noted with sadness the passing of Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas. From his groundbreaking role as the first Presiding Officer of the National Assembly to his service in both Houses of Parliament and as a government minister he was a champion of the nation, its language and culture.

Item 2: First Minister’s items

2.1 Cabinet considered the Plenary Grid and noted the session on Tuesday would commence with tributes to Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas. In addition, an oral statement on the WRU’s review into the senior women’s team contract negotiations, planned for that day, would issue as a written statement. No votes were planned for Tuesday and voting time would be around 6:25pm on Wednesday.
