Adverse weather forecasting services
Our new adverse weather forecasting services (WGCD-BU-114-22) framework has been awarded and will commence on 18 September 2022. The current framework (NPS-CFM-0086-18) expires on 17 September. Renewable energy and transition update
All electricity supplied to our customers through EDF is renewable and backed by REGO certificates (Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin).
From April 2020 and March 2021, 86% of the renewable energy supplied was generated in Wales, which was an increase of 23% from the previous year. The breakdown is as follows (Welsh REGOs):
- Hydro: (1%)
- Landfill gas: (7%)
- Solar: (17%)
- Wind: (75%)
