This report looks at visits to heritage sites, libraries and museums as well as the attendance and participation at arts events for April 2017 to March 2018.
This is the latest release in the series: Arts, heritage sites, libraries and museums (National Survey for Wales)
It explores the characteristics of people who visit these places as well as the reasons given for not visiting. In addition, the report considers those who are satisfied with their visit. Further analysis looks at the factors associated with taking part in arts activities.
Main points
- 75% of adults attend or participate in arts, culture or heritage events at least three times a year.
- In the last 12 months, 34% of adults used a public library service and 5% visited an archive.
