11. Apply
One lead parent needs to complete the application, even if you have shared custody of the child.
If you are applying for multiple children, for example twins, add more children to the same application.
If you have already applied then sign in.
If you already have a Government Gateway account then you can apply using these existing login details.
Before you start
You need to know your:
- your National Insurance number
- your employment address with postcode
- household partner’s employment address with postcode
- average weekly earnings for you and your household partner
- gross annual salary for you and your household partner
You will need to provide documents as proof.
