Original consultation
We want your views on proposed changes to Welsh domestic food law in preparation for Brexit.
Consultation description
The proposals will help businesses adapt to possible changes in labelling requirements after our withdrawal from the EU. They are relevant to:
- protected food name and geographical Indicator products
- wine products
- mixed fruit and vegetable produce originating from more than one country.
The proposed amendments involve the following Welsh statutory instruments derived from EU law:
- The Food Information (Wales) Regulations 2014
- The Marketing of Fresh Horticultural Produce (Wales) Regulations 2009.
