Outcome: Roads Review Panel decision
The Roads Review Panel made a recommendation. The Deputy Minister for Climate Change has decided not to go ahead with the proposed section of the A55.

Background
A single option strategy was agreed for junctions 16 and 16a.
We published a protected route plan.
Next steps
The North Wales Transport Commission was set up following the announcement not to go ahead with the project.
How we consulted
We held stakeholder workshops in summer 2008 and a public information event in late 2017.
We held a 12 week consultation exercise in summer 2018.
