This consultation seeks views on proposed changes to the 14-19 Learning Pathways policy.
Consultation description
The main proposals for change on which we are consulting were recommended to the Minister for Education and Skills by an independent Task and Finish Group.
The Group’s recommendations represent a shift in the 14-19 Learning Pathways policy to take into account:
- a more appropriate balance between learner choice and the quality of learning options at Key Stage 4
- considerable changes that have taken place in the Welsh educational landscape over recent years.
The consultation specifically invites views on the implementation of the proposed policy changes which will affect regulations funding arrangements and 14-19 business planning and delivery.
