On the 7th April I issued the National COVID-19 Public Testing Plan which set out how we are approaching testing for COVID-19 in Wales; what we wish to achieve through testing; and the steps we are taking to increasing testing capacity.
I committed to providing regular updates on the progress being made against the plan here in Wales.
We have today published the first of these updates and we will continue to do so each week, for however long is necessary.
