Since establishing the Ministerial Taskforce for the South Wales Valleys, I have held a series of discussions about expanding membership to ensure cross-sector representation.
While it is important to keep the membership of the taskforce small and manageable, it is critical it can draw on a range of skills and experiences.
I am therefore pleased to announce Jocelyn Davies, the former Plaid Cymru Deputy Minister for Housing and Regeneration, will be joining the taskforce. Jocelyn will attend the next ministerial taskforce meeting on 28 November.
Jocelyn will bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm to the taskforce. I look forward to working with her as part of the taskforce.
