As a whistleblower, you’re protected by law from being mistreated because you ‘blow the whistle.’

Report to us

As a prescribed person under whistleblowing law, our employees can whistleblow to us about Land Transaction Tax and Landfill Disposals Tax.

You can also whistleblow to us about these taxes if you feel you cannot whistleblow to your organisation.

You can whistleblow to us about Land Transaction Tax or Landfill Disposals Tax if you’ve reason to believe that one of the following has happened:

  • a criminal offence
  • a breach of a legal obligation
  • a miscarriage of justice
  • danger to the health or safety of any individual
  • damage to the environment
  • the deliberate covering up of wrongdoing in the above categories

You may want to get legal advice if you’re not sure if your concern is covered by whistleblowing.

If your concern is not covered, you may instead want to submit feedback, make a complaint or report tax avoidance or evasion.
