Lucy started her career in Welsh Government in 2010 after studying history at Cardiff University. During this time at Welsh Government, she's worked in many roles, including change, digital and project management.
Before joining the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA), Lucy was a member of the Implementation Programme team. She helped with the development of our website and feeding user’s views into the build of our digital tax system before launch.
Lucy moved over to the WRA in April 2018 and was involved in the development of our Charter. Lucy has since been appointed as our Customer Insight and Strategy Lead, representing the voice of our customers, and looking at ways to improve services for our users.
In October 2018, Lucy was nominated by her colleagues to be the first Staff Elected Member of the WRA Board. It's also Lucy’s first role as a board member. She's enjoying this opportunity and looks forward to contributing to the future of the WRA by bringing a unique perspective to board discussions and decisions.
Lucy took GCSE Welsh in school and is keen to reconnect with the language.
