About information we manage and hold at the Welsh Revenue Authority.

Following the restrictions put in place due to coronavirus (COVID-19), here’s an update on how we’re managing information:

  • all our people are working with secure remote digital access
  • all personal data held on paper files remains secured 
  • all hard copy tax returns and correspondence continue to be handled securely
  • most of our records are held digitally and our digital processes are unaffected
  • we cannot currently input hard copy tax returns, process letters or bank cheques
