Barristers Public Law Scheme

The Welsh Government’s Barristers Public Law Scheme is an opportunity to gain non-advocacy legal experience in a range of public and administrative law matters. Contact: LegalServices-CentralAdminTeamRequests@gov.wales.

Eligibility

If you are a 2nd (or 3rd) six pupil barrister, or a junior member of the bar not currently appointed to a government panel of junior counsel, you can apply to be registered for the scheme. Previous experience in public administrative law is not required.
