Outcome: Roads Review Panel decision
The Roads Review Panel made a recommendation. The Deputy Minister for Climate Change has decided not to go ahead with the proposed section of the A55.

Background
We have previously referred to this improvement project as junctions 15 and 16.
The statutory process for each junction meant that we separated them into 2 projects:
- junction 15 project known as junction 14 and 15
- junction 16 project known as junction 16 and 16a improvement project
Next steps
The North Wales Transport Commission was set up following the announcement not to go ahead with the project.
