Interest-free loans are available to renovate empty properties and make them safe to live in. These are sometimes known as 'Houses into Homes loans.'
The money is available before work starts. It can pay for work on houses and commercial buildings. This includes turning a property into flats.
We have made £43 million available for home improvement loans, and empty homes loans across Wales.
Eligibility
Anyone can apply. The most that you can borrow is £25,000 for each property and up to £250,000 per application.
Any loan offered will be secured on the property and will take into account the existing mortgage. It can’t be more than 80% of the property’s value.
