The Glastir Monitoring and Evaluation Programme (GMEP) collects evidence for all five intended outcomes from the Glastir scheme.

These include:

  • combating climate change
  • improving water quality and managing water resources
  • improving soil quality and management
  • halting biodiversity loss
  • managing landscapes and historic environment and improving public access to the countryside
  • woodland creation and management.

The GMEP data portal (external link) is an information source allowing visitors to access reports (including the full Options for a New Integrated Natural Resource Monitoring Framework for Wales Report), tables, graphs and images. The portal also allows visitors to investigate and explore information and questions relating to each of the Glastir outcomes.
