Important information: Glastir Advanced unclaimed capital works must be claimed no later 28 February.

Scheme closed to new entrants

Glastir Advanced is intended to deliver environmental improvements for a range of objectives including habitats, species, soil and water and is available to farmers and land managers.

In order to achieve these improvements, we will target financial support at specific locations where action will best deliver the intended outcomes using a set of Geographical Information System (GIS) maps. Different areas of Wales are targeted for particular objectives and specific management options and capital works are available to deliver the required outcomes.

Glastir Advanced contracts begin on 1 January of each year. Participating in Glastir Entry is no longer necessary to access Glastir Advanced.

Full details of the requirements of the scheme including Management Options and Capital Works (including payment rates) are available within the 2019 Guidance link on the right of your screen.

If you hold a Glastir Advanced contract that is due to expire on or before 31 December 2019, you may be given an opportunity to renew your management options until 31 December 2019, subject to your contractual commitments being met.

We will write to you to confirm the arrangements in the 5th year of your current Glastir Advanced commitment. This means you will not need to go through a further selection process. You are not eligible to apply for Glastir Advanced 2019.
