Management information update on coronavirus testing up to 7 June 2020.
This is not the latest release in the series: Testing data for coronavirus (COVID-19)
Statistics on coronavirus testing:
- authorised tests per day
- number of individuals tested
- number of tests on critical workers
- location of tests
- timeliness of tests
They have been published to provide a weekly summary of data on coronavirus testing, and coincide with the Welsh Government’s weekly testing update.
The data are management information, not official statistics, and are revised regularly. The Public Health Wales surveillance dashboard is updated daily with the most recent data, including revisions to the data published here.
On Thursday 4 June, Public Health Wales started to include a new series on tests by Welsh residents submitted through UK laboratories. This includes samples from COVID-19 drive-through testing centres in England and home testing kits. These data will be added to future weekly updates.
Our guide on Understanding data on coronavirus (COVID-19) testing provides a further explanation of these data.
