National programmes include:
New incentives of up to £3,000 to recruit an apprentice. You cover their wages and we will cover the training costs.
Recruit someone who has been made redundant and we’ll help with up to £3,000 for wages in the first 12 months, and up to £1,000 for any job-related training needed. More information on ReAct is available on Business Wales.
Help young people (aged between 16 and 18) to kick-start their career, by offering a work placement, to help them to get the skills they need to get their first job or progress to further training. More information on traineeships is available on Business Wales.
The Kickstart Scheme on GOV.UK funds employers to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit. The funding covers 100% of National Minimum Wage, employer National Insurance. It covers a minimum automatic enrolment contributions for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months.
