Latest information for Welsh Government staff.

Alert level 4 operating procedures

All of Wales entered alert level 4 at 00:00 on Sunday 20 December. The Welsh Government’s default position for everyone will be to work from home where they can do so. This will include those already attending one of our open offices reverting to home working, where possible.

Only those who are approved as ‘critical workers’ by their Director General will continue to travel and work from a Welsh Government office if necessary. This includes those with critical personal well-being or work-related reasons.

Everyone should now carefully consider the critical nature of their attendance at the office. These arrangements will be in place until there are further decisions on the measures in place for Wales.

Our Employee Assistance Programme is here to support you through challenging times; please make use of the services available if you need them. You can call the Care First team on 0800 174 319 for 24hr confidential support, 365 days of the year.
