John Davies Recliners

John Davies is the Managing Director of Recliners - a Rhondda-based company that supplies and manufactures made-to-measure mobility reclining furniture and specialist seating.

He has over 30 year’s experience in the furniture and manufacturing business, and is a qualified City & Guilds upholsterer. Recliners was created in the late 1990s and the company is insistent that quality underpins everything that is made at Recliners and assures his customers that if you are investing in a Recliners product that it will give you years of satisfaction and comfort. John has been able to share his specialist knowledge of mobility furniture with the healthcare sector and company’s throughout the UK. He has built up the business considerably over the past 5 years by investing in a creative design area thus ensuring that Recliner’s products are the outcome of a thorough design process through collaboration with the company’s end users, carefully selected materials and particular emphasis on design style. 

With an established workforce of 37 dedicated employees in the team, Recliners will continue to develop in all areas by offering formal training and development courses to staff, in which John personally mentors 2 individuals. He is also keen to support the wider Welsh economy and ensures that supplies are sourced locally wherever possible.
