|
It was agreed to set up a Task & Finish Group to look at the issue of fair reward in social care. The Group will consider evidence relating to pay structures and skills and progression in the social care sector. Consideration will also be given to the implications of introducing the Real Living Wage to the sector. Members discussed the concept of Collective Bargaining. Different models of collective bargaining will be added to the agenda and considered further at the next meeting. |

It was agreed to add safety committees and representation to the work programme and to establish a Task & Finish Group to consider the evidence available and agree next steps. |
| 4 | Workforce Strategy for Health and Social Care | The Workforce Strategy for Health and Social Care was noted for future consideration. |
| 5 | Minutes and actions from the last meeting | The minutes of the last meeting were approved. |
