Anti-Slavery Co-ordinator

The Anti-Slavery Co-ordinator for Wales is Stephen Chapman. His role is to stop slavery in Wales and to co-ordinate help and support for survivors.

Wales is the only government within the UK to have an Anti-Slavery Co-ordinator.

Wales Anti-Slavery Leadership Group

This group meets with other organisations to tackle slavery in Wales.

Their objectives are to:

  • identify the level of slavery in Wales
  • develop intelligence sharing protocols and identify available training
  • establish a Wales anti-slavery communications engagement plan
  • identify support and care for victims
