Sara Pedersen is a veterinary consultant. She is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a specialist in Cattle Health and Production.

She works closely with all sectors of the agricultural industry to improve cattle health and welfare. 

Sara graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005 and has worked in the farm animal sector ever since.

Before returning home to South Wales in 2014, Sara spent time in farm practice in several different areas of the UK. She also spent short periods working for a pharmaceutical company and volunteering overseas. 

Sara now runs Farm Dynamics Ltd. The consultancy provides training and advisory services on topics relating to cattle health and welfare. It places a specific focus on cow comfort and cattle lameness.

Sara is also a member of the Dairy Cattle Mobility Steering Group and the British Veterinary Association (BVA) Welsh Branch.

In 2023, Sara was named Farmers Weekly Livestock Advisor of the Year. 

She is also involved in teaching at a number of veterinary schools, including the University of Aberystwyth School of Veterinary Science.
