Exercise is a vital part of keeping all of us healthy, but it’s important to do it in a safe way.
Exercise whilst staying at home
If you can’t leave the house, it’s still important for your physical and mental health to keep moving.
Whether that’s turning on your favourite song and dancing, undertaking housework with a bit more gusto, or finding a workout that works for you.
The aim is to move and to get your heartrate up. Here are some suggestions:

Whatever you chose, be careful and build up your level of activity slowly and listen to your body.
Exercise when social distancing
All exercise must start and finish at home and be local to where you live. You should follow the advice from Natural Resources Wales.
Consider doing some easy low impact exercises.
But remember to keep social distancing. Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times to stop the virus from spreading.
Whatever exercise you choose, you must wash your hands for at least 20 seconds as soon as you get home.
