We want your views on proposals to reform post-compulsory education and training (PCET), as well as on how we oversee spending on research and innovation.
Consultation description
Following our response to the Hazelkorn report we are consulting on proposals to create a new Tertiary Education and Research Commission for Wales that will:
- protect the interests of learners and make sure Wales has the skills needed to compete
- plan education and skills delivery across PCET in Wales
- oversee and coordinate Welsh Government education, research and innovation funding
- develop better links between higher and further education and Welsh business.
