With a passion for reimagining and decolonising the Humanities curriculum, Georgi is keen to create an ethos of diversity at Pontarddulais Comprehensive.
She enthusiastically creates innovative teaching and learning resources and delivers whole staff training on Anti-Racism. Her enthusiasm is particularly infectious when she talks about ideas to move the curriculum forward!
Learners say that Georgi has inspired them to love history. Her lessons give life to hidden histories and unheard voices.
She allows her class to “challenge perceptions”, and “go against the grain,” to form perspectives and dispel ignorance.
