Your home is unlikely to be repossessed for 3 months if you cannot pay your mortgage.

You must:

  • continue to pay your mortgage (if you can)
  • speak to your mortgage lender (you may be able to apply for a 3 month payment holiday)
  • agree a repayment plan with your mortgage lender

If your lender is trying to repossess your home

Your mortgage lender cannot take you to court until at least 25 June 2020.

Any court action for repossession has been suspended until 25 June 2020. Courts have also suspended all possession cases.
