UK replacement for OJEU post-Brexit

The name of the new UK e-notification service, which will be used if there is a no deal Brexit, will be 'Find a tender'.

If there is a no deal, the system will be available from exit day onwards. After this day, the Welsh public sector will continue to publish on Sell2Wales, which will link to ‘Find a Tender’ instead of TED/OJEU as it does currently for above threshold tenders.

Suppliers can continue to search for work in Wales through Sell2Wales, through Find a tender for the rest of the UK and can continue to search through OJEU for European opportunities.

Data Protection and Brexit - is your organisation prepared?

If your organisation shares personal data with businesses or organisations in the European Economic Area (EEA), you will need to take steps to ensure you continue to comply with data protection laws if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.

There is practical advice available on the Information Commissioner's website.

Important information for hauliers

Hauliers need to register certain commercial trailers and / or require new travel documents to operate in the EU after Brexit. This may be of interest to some of your suppliers and impact upon your supply chains. More information is available on Business Wales.

Advice for agricultural sectors available

Defra has produced a series of guides for the fisheries, farming, food and drink, chemicals and fertiliser sectors on preparing for Brexit. These may be of interest to some of your suppliers.

The guides are currently only available in English.
