This Statement provides an update on the work of the Welsh Co-operatives and Mutual’s Commission.
The Welsh Co-operative and Mutual’s Commission (the Commission), under the chairmanship of Professor Andrew Davies, Chair of Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board continues to hear and gather evidence from key individuals and organisations.
A number of helpful views have been received in response to the call for evidence. Direct evidence has been received and is continuing to be submitted at monthly meetings of the Commission and through individual meetings facilitated by the Commission members and Secretariat.
The Commission has started its deliberations and is on target to provide me with a draft report in September 2013.
