The appointment of a new Chair to the Hybu Cig Cymru Board has been one of my key priorities over recent months. The red meat industry in Wales will face significant challenges as we leave the EU and the Chair will play a central and critical role in helping to drive forward the work of HCC as we seek to meet those challenges head-on.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Roberts as the new Chair of Hybu Cig Cymru. The attributes Kevin has demonstrated through the now completed public appointment process gives me complete confidence we have secured the services of an exceptional Chair.
These are exciting and very challenging times for HCC and for the agriculture industry in Wales and I wish the new Board every success for the future.
