We want your views on amendments to Annex A of the Joint Fisheries Statement (JFS).
Consultation description
We are consulting on amendments to the list of fisheries management plans included at Annex A of the JFS.
This is a joint consultation between the Welsh, UK, Scottish and Northern Ireland governments.
Under the Fisheries Act 2020, the 4 UK administrations (the fisheries policy authorities) must prepare and publish a JFS. This sets out:
- our policies for achieving the fisheries objectives in the act
- the intended use of fisheries management plans
- how we have applied the fisheries objectives in formulating the policies and plans
